Three shot panorama, stitched by hand in Photoshop. It's my first manual stitch, and it came out surprisingly well even though the 10 second exposure times, along with 10 second self timer to avoid camera shake, as well as time spent reposition the camera, both the clouds and the moon had moved considerably inbetween shots.

Not quite obvious in this picture, but the moon is still partly eclipsed. The top of the moon's disc is just barely outside of the shadow.

Images no. DSC_1593, DSC_1594 and DSC_1595

Marvelous. Manual stitching is hard. Especially when you have 'moving objects' like the clouds in frame. Good work.

Have you tried Panorama Factory? Nice little program.

@dthprod: Thanks :) It wasn't as hard as I expected it to be, but that probably owes a lot to the fact that the image is quite dark, and there is very little sharp detail. I probably got away with a few glitches that would have been far less forgiving in daylight ;)

Panorama Factory looks interesting, but there's no *cough* freeware option. May consider it if I get more serious on the panorama side of things.
