No, of course it won't run. A moving objects attracts much more attention than a still one. This effect is even stronger with many predators. Only if the rabbit knows it has been spotted, it will run - at that point in time it's too late to pretend not to be there. :-)
During a walk this afternoon K pointed out a little grey bunny in the paddock. It sat there for a few minutes (K says it won't run until it knows it's been spotted).
