Reminds me of the story about George Bernard Shaw. A friend commented on the absence of flowers in his house. "I thought you liked flowers," he said. Shaw responded, "I like children too, but I don't cut off thier heard and stick them in pots around the house."

Exactly. They last longer if left in the plants too ;)

Same here, I don't cut flowers from our garden; for vase I just usually go and pinch flowers from the neigbourhood. (They're holiday houses, they don't know:)
