What am I reading (or looking at)? That's page 28 of National Geographic for October which just arrived today, and they're fishermen from Tyre in Lebanon. My eyes are drawn to top row, number 2 from the left. He and the others on this page have agreed to donate blood samples for a study that will determine whether they're descended from the ancient Phoenicians (one specimen shown on the right: yellow, pointy head, bulgy eyes ...).
