Cat in one of his odd positions

This is not at all an odd postion. University tests have shown that cats have a strong desire to push their noses against circular objects. Its something about their fur. Just the other morning my own feline friend was found with its nose pressed againsed a postage stamp. Needless to say, its fur had come off.

Did the stamp you mention have an image of the queen (of England) on it? Your cat could have been expressing a fondness for empire and colonialism. Anyway, cats and queens both start with the same letter. Also, now that I think of it, I've never seen a circular postage stamp. How could they make those neat perforated sheets if stamps were circular?

Intriguing and complex questions my dear Micheal. Fortunately none of the antipodeon stamps have Her Maj on them - I guess there is enough about the royal family in the electronic and print media. Regarding the round stamps question - human ingenuity and will would prevail I'm sure, after all someone did invent a device for removing nasal hair.
