fyi that brown thing on the gauss is iodine... haha
naw it's just about 1cm... the most is 1.5cm...
the tip of the water-rocket (a plastic pop bottle cap) is what caused the cut... wasnt bleeding so much either...
no biggie...
will survive

hahaha...too funny, golden. it might not kill but it will sometimes injure.
bro, those little kids must have been traumatized...you're suppose to be their teacher...strong, reliant, indestructable!...and they found out that you are only human...*sigh* another of childhood's illusions dashed upon the rocks. reminds me of the time i found a lizard under the cupboard and i ran out of my classroom leaving the kids there...haha...fortunately for me they were too young...i ran out of the classroom and they ran to see the lizard :-) my reaction definately didnt leave any lasting impression on them...thank goodness!

Failure to engage locking device of water bottle rocket to stand will result in humorous accidents :) Luckily you weren't smacked by the arm of a trebuchet... hehehe

hahahahah...that is hilarious dude... and that iodine makes it look so much worse than it really is. I had a cut like that once on my forehead from falling on the sidewalk...but that cut involved a little too much vodka/cranberry juice...

lots of sympathies and reminiscences.
I thot you only teach spelling and maths to these kids. when did you become a science teacher?
Be careful with stuff like that. Your forehead between brows seems rather red.

Injured in the line of duty.
Darran Sim will receive a purple heart for his injuries inflicted on him while helping students out with their "water-rocket" experiment. He will be formally dismissed on Friday 1 of April 2005 from his duties as a student teacher. He will continue his normal life in the community of Mission College.
He will be greatly missed ....
was helping some students (Janin, Game, and David) with their water rocket project... a projectile powered by air and water pressure... was pumping air into the waterrocket... had a bad feeling that something might happened... it wacked me in the forehead... very thankful that it didnt hit my eye...
woah...
the verdict...
Science = Fun
Fun (sometimes)= Danger
therefore:
Science = Danger;) haha
dont worry i have a hard head!:)
