Absolutely charming! I am particularly struck by the contrast of the vivid saffron robes and modern rubber-soled sandals against the historic yet delicate ruins of this Wat.

Monks in saffron robes up the coolness factor in anything I think. Our tour guide was also telling us of his time as a monk. Apparently you can choose to do it for 2 weeks to 2 months to a lifetime.
