Attended Russ and Lou's wedding, fondly dubbed as the 'Wedding of the Year' (at least as far as the Philippine advertising industry was concerned), in Tagaytay over the holidays. Was of course reunited with the gang from the 34th floor along with former colleagues, production people and clients I have had the privilege of working with over the years. The strictly formal yet pleasantly entertaining reception featured a roster of talents, all personal friends of the couple, such as Ony Carcamo, professional ventriloquist and my personal spritual mentor; the Aca-Fellas, a fantastic all-boys acapella vocal group; and bartending stuntment from TGI Friday's among others. This goofy shot shows the Harrison folks (both current and former) on the dancefloor during a rundown of what I assume were Papa Russ's fave 80's tunes. That kid between Merv and me is a young MJ in the making and I love how the camera caught everyone in their fabulously playful poses, which is what makes this such a memorable shot. Memorable moment.
