It's a 1.6L capacity with no exposed element and a wonderfully smooth lid release mechanism. It's nicely balanced in the hand and did I mention the finish is just amazing.
I'll grant that you can see a difference in quality between this and the $34.95 kettle but they both boil water, the cheap one can even boil 100ml more!
