If you look closely at the label it reads "buy two blue-ray discs to recieve a third blue ray disc free". The store employees usually apply the stickers inhouse when the promotion starts. Someone simply stuck the sticker on the wrong product (conspiracy theories aside).
I wonder if any savvy HD DVD buyers would chance their luck on 2-for-1 with the sales droid?

1. No, I didn't tamper with the sticker.
2. Yes, it is nothing more sinister than someone accidentally putting the wrong product in the secure display case. No one is suggesting otherwise.
3. No, I didn't try to buy 2-for-1 HD DVDs and see if it worked.
