I've few of these lately. I took one into the station over there at Redfern (where they were very indifferent). A lot of this is on account of the cat burglers stealing wallets and emptying them out outside the street or near where they break in.
Somewhere in Sydney is a food/hospitality student who either lost, or had stolen, his knife kit containing a lot of his personal effects.
