Sounds to me like you're still in the break-in stage. You should (hopefully) see better mileage as you put more miles on the engine. My scooter started off at 55-60 mpg and now, 3000 miles later, does better than 70 mpg.

errr yeah - having hauled numbers equal and better than that out of both the MX5 and the Turbo Lynx on mixed city/highway cycles I think you've either got a leaden foot problem or need dome more running in ;)

Last fill was at 000262. Therefore, it's 42.91 litres for 509 kilometres, or 8.43 litres per 100km. Hmmm... time for me to ease off on the spirited take-offs I think! Let's see what I can get out of the next tank.
