Miserable night in the city.

Uh oh...engine light, battery...looks like someone either hasn't started the car yet or is wishing they hadn't.

You appear to be using igo8. What software have you found best so far? I haven't given that one a workout yet but it shows promise.
I've just installed a unit similar to yours.

Jim - iGO8 has been the winner by a long shot. Finean was quite good. Route66 was very ordinary.

To be fair to route66 it's the only program i've used so far that has our road on it. My old eyes hate its display though, its text is too small.
I've found Tomtom pretty good to use, it has good voices, a good display but it doesn't install easily on some of the Chinese GPSs so i haven't tried too hard.
I didn't like the voices igo7 has but i'm looking forward to testing igo8's TTS.
Destinator7 has TTS too but i haven't road tested it much, it does seem like a pretty fair program though.
At this point i think i'll run igo8 on the din unit and the map based oziexplorer on the portable.
Must see what Finean's all about.

A few hundred meters from here, a few thousand Apple Fanboys are queuing up to check out the new Apple Store in Sydney.
