The pool is open!

LOL...no, just looks that way. It's a two minute walk away, however...about 300 yards...and this was taken on a weekend afternoon and look at how crowded it is. May as well be in the backyard!
Update: Despite my hesitation, joining the pool was a good idea. When it reach 97F on sunday, I was *real glad* I could walk 300 yards and be in the water!
The hesistation was because of this area. People around here are...well, kind of uppity and very cliquish. I grew up somewhat poor and more or less despise that kind of thing. But there are a lot of nice people in this neighborhood and they're the people that turn up at the pool. So it all worked out.
