A pic for Peter.

One of these black Vespas, used in inner-city Sydney to tow around small advertising billboards, crashed into my brother-in-law a couple of months ago. Now they're on the back of a ute heading off somewhere.

Tony has his hands full, dealing with the two munchkins and trying to prepare dinner.

Back toHillBilly WiFi.
Phlog photo
It's been a while since I last got to tinker with the HillBilly WiFi community wireless internet project.

Today we're going to install the re-purposed D-Link DWL-710 repeater at one of the nearby houses. Since the the last time you spotted it it's been removed from the shed and had a secondary antenna installed into it for improved RX signal strength.

Borrowed this compressor from one of the neighbours to use with the staple gun (affixing some skirting boards in T&T's bathroom).

Methinks the statements on this maintenance sticker haven't been observed.

Ooops!
Phlog photo
Yep, the owner hasn't worried about routine maintenance and the compressor musthave had close to a litre of rusty, oily water inside. Ewww.

VERY close call.
Phlog photo
It could have very easily ended in tears. Tony accidentally discharged the nail gun in the house. The nail (pictured) blasted between Toni and I, hitting the pantry door.

Be careful with air tools, children!

A cool night ahead.

Tony and Toni have stoked up their fireplace and I'm transfixed by the calming glow.
