Dusk Scorpion
No, you don’t have to stare so hard. You won’t see a scorpion that appears only at dusk or a scorpion from the dusk clan. With the picture as clue, perhaps you’ll be able to guess what ‘dusk scorpion’ means?
Rosacrucis, this picture is for you. You mustn’t give away the answer, or you’ll find a kala under your pillow or in your shoe or in your knapsack… ad nauseam… when senja approaches. :P

On Cloud Nine
When I looked up and saw the clouds, I was on top of the world.
Mon 30 Jun, 2008 - 03:46:34 PM
A crucis in the clouds?
Look closely and you'll see it.

Heavenly colours
Notice the trees which are in the brightest shade of green? The eye of heaven is shining upon them. Yet the sky is overcast. And thunder is roaring in the background.
This is another of God’s abundant masterpieces. I can feel that God’s grace is upon me whenever I look at this picture. I’m also reminded of what a friend of mine told me – God will not send you to where His grace cannot protect you.

You don’t want to mess around with this Bulbous Corianduerus, do you?

Bulbous Corianduerus
This strange-looking plant has been called such by one
Professor Sicurcasor from Madagascar.

Giraffe reincarnated?
I don’t know the name of this orchid. Neither does the owner, but the first thing that came to mind when I laid my eyes upon this species of orchid is the giraffe. Do look at the centre of the flower. What do you see?

And the winner is...
Mr Ha Lia…
(not due to his fighting skills, mind you, but simply because he’s cuter)
That’s the way with the world.

Oats with Dragon Fruit topping
It’s a light and easy meal.
Light and easy on your tummy, and it’s so easy to prepare that to do so, you don’t need your mummy.

Wok with Albusperi
This mixed vegetables dish will look better in terms of presentation if there is something green. Don't you agree?

Albusperi's Signature Dish
This baby white pomfret soup got two thumbs-up from 3 Anton Egos, and 2 went for a second helping. Delectable, so they said. :P

Sambal ikan bilis buns
A tad oily, but this makcik's bun is smooth. The sambal ikan bilis is cooked in such a way that it sort of melts in your mouth.
[Correction for my language professor said the statement is ambiguous, and hmmm, I couldn't agree more lah :P]
A tad oily, but the bun which this makcik made is smooth.

Selorot
To make this kuih, mix rice flour with 'Gula Melaka' before adding some coconut milk. Bring the mixture to a boil. Then, pour the mixture in casings made from nipah leaves, and steam them.
The makcik told me that green colouring was used in her Selorot as she couldn't find pandan leaves that day.
